Martin Fröst takes on the artistic management of the Stavanger Chamber Music Festival!
2010-01-02 | Martin Fröst has been invited to take on the artistic leadership of this prestigious international festival, started by the Stavanger son cellist Truls Mörk in 1991. The festival management was looking for a musician with a comparable international status and musical qualities to lead the festival in the coming 3 years, in collaboration with the young, locally connected, upcoming pianist Christian Ihle Hadland. Martin Fröst is looking forward to develop the visions he has for his Vinterfest in Mora, where he remains the artistic director, further at this well established and artistically exciting festival!
