Along with the highly successful Quatuor Ébène, Martin Fröst makes a real dream team to be on the stage, performing ‘with a radical will of expression and an immense spectrum of tone colours’ (Hamburger Abendblatt). After a tour performing Brahms’s Clarinet Quintet, the musicians now turn their attention to Mozart, who composed the first clarinet quintet in music history. The tour takes place in La Chaux de Fond’s Salle de Musique (2 Nov), Hamburg’s Laeiszhalle (3 Nov), Munich’s Prinzregententheater (6 Nov) and Bern’s Zentrum Paul Klee (7 Nov).
